Hi, I am a little confused. You haven't had a period in 8 months, do you have any signs of pregnancy, like there is something moving in you or even a bump? If you don't see any physical changes and you haven't had the usual pregnancy issues, then for your own health find out what is going on. This could be very serious. I've had times where I haven't had a period because I was under-weight, however you need to go and get a pregnancy test TODAY AND go and see your doctor. You may not be menstruating because you are severely stressing yourself out with worry. I can't believe you've been dealing with this anguish for 8 months, all this could be over in 3 minutes or a 15 minute consultation with your doctor. Hope that helps.

AngelofLove agony auntRunning away from the problem will not make it disappear.

You really need to go the doctor.

If you were pregnant you would have put on some weight and your tummy would show after this time.

It could be cystic ovaries but unless you go to the doctor how will you find out? Most important, whatever it is, needs to be checked out as early as possible.

You would kick yourself if by delaying treatment agravated the problem even more if there is any.

You may seek all the advice you need but it will not change the fact that you will not find a diagnosis or cure here. Any good advice will always refer you to a doctor.

Be strong and go to the surgery as soon as possible. Most treatments are simply taking tablets.

You may need a scan but if so it is for a more accurate diagnosis.

I had no period for 6 months, turned out to be cystics but with the right medication they are gone now.

Delaying treatment can sometimes affect your fertility. You may not want a baby now but you will some day.

Do not let fear take choices away from you.

You may wish to ask a close friend to go with you for support.

The best of luck

Honey, You need to go to the pharmacy/supermarket and buy a pregnancy test. I know its scary to think about things like this, especially at your age. Hey, im only 19 so i know! (luckily I wasnt pregnant when this happered to me!) BUt 8 months is a very long time to have waited to take a test, and if you are pregnant, theres nothing you can do about it now, your going to have a baby. And you havent gotten the propper prenatal care for your baby, by not going to the doctor.

So... You really need to get this sorted ASAP, for your own health and the health of a possible baby.

HAs your belly grown? Morning sickness? weight gain? anything like that? I mean, at 8 months most (but not all) women look VERY pregnant!

Id say start by going to get a pregnancy test.

Then, if its negative, id say its safe to assume ur not pregnant at this point.

If it says you ARE pregnant, go to the doctor as soon as you can, and explain everything. They wont judge you, and they will help you with everything.

Even if youre not pregnant, Id still go to the doctor if you havent had a period in 8 months...

Well, I hope everything works out. Just remember, there are lots of options if you ARE pregnant, but you need time to get your head sorted out, before the baby arrives.

You can message me if you want any more advice...

Hope this helps!!
