its okay dont freak out. just wait about a week later. (everyone can be late) . if still no period then you might want to take another test if its still negative then you'll probally want to see your doctor.!!

Mommy is right - your nerves about it might be making you late. Stress and worry do funny things to a girl's hormones!
I'd go see your GP if you are worried - he or she will probably do a blood test rather than making you pee on a stick :o) and it is all confidential, so don't be embarrassed. Plus, you'll know straight away and all the worry will be behind you!
Shop bought pregnancy tests, although they are pretty accurate these days, rely on having a certain level of the pregnancy hormone in your system.
Doctor or your nearest clinic will do the blood test for free, and they can test for smaller levels of the hormone, meaning it can be detected earlier.
And while you are there love ... pick up some condoms!
UK clinics hand them out for free by the bag full, or at least my local one does!
I had a new implant fitted a few months ago ... they gave me a bag of 20 ... I went back cos a stitch came out (messy removal of my first one) ... they gave me a bag of 20 ... went back for a 2 week check up ... they gave me a bag of 20 ... honestly, I am knee deep in the buggers!
Or, if you are serious about your boyfriend, maybe have a chat about the pill, injection or implant. That way, even if you do find yourself without a condom, you know you are still protected from becoming pregnant.
Good luck, hope it goes the way you want!

If you are getting negative results 9 days after you were supposed to start, I would wait another week, and if you haven't started, test again. Your worries may be causing a delay in your cycle.
Those tests are very accurate. I'm leaning more towards the tests. But, if you haven't started in 1 week, test again.
