A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

People are threatening me. I don't know if I should disclose their details to the police. J have called them and they said it's harrassment. But these are the type of people who hate police and anyone involved with them. They recorded a sensitive call from me and shared it. They stole things from me and now harrassing me for Money. I don't know what to do. If I don't do anything they'll keep coming. If I do then it'll start a shitstorm

A reader, anonymous, writes (13 September 2021):

If the police say it's harassment, why are you here on a site for relationship advice?

Why didn't you file a formal complaint with the police?

How are you connected with these people, and why are they specifically after you?

Save-up all the evidence you can. Record all verbal-threats, save text messages, and voicemails. Take photos or phone videos when you are approached. Report each and every threatening incident to the police. If you can get some friends to stay with you, they can be your witnesses. Law-enforcement can't protect you when you let fear stand in the way of their help. The perpetrator is counting on your fear, and that you'll do nothing.

Why are you so afraid of a "sh!t-storm" when they're already making your life a living hell? How much of a sh!t-storm can they create before it's a crime?

Put-up with it, or call the police! There is nothing we can do for you here. It won't stop until you take it to the police. Keep calling the police until they decide to do something about it. They won't take you seriously, if you won't file any charges.

Youcannotbeserious agony auntTalk to the police TODAY. These people have no right to bully you or steal from you. You sound quite vulnerable. Do you have friends or family members who can help you?

A reader, anonymous, writes (12 September 2021):

What you say makes no sense at all. The police will only be interested in people stealing from you, and you would need proof they did. Harrassing you would be civil action, small claims, nothing to do with police, and again you need proof. And not just he said this and she said that. Why would they be harrassing you and stealing from you? There is obviously a lot more to this. Sounds like they think you owe them and they are taking what you owe them. It would cost you a fortune to go to court with this, far more than you can afford. As for them keep coming, sounds very dramatic but you are still in one piece and they would have done more by now if they had wanted to. It sounds absurd and like a made up story to me.
