Even if you don't do anything sexual, do you still become aroused? It could be due to prolonged arousal or by tensing up around your girlfriend with nerves.
It could be psychological too. That you're not calm and relaxed around your girlfriend - or that you become tensed and stressed once she's gone away.
I'm really not sure though. I've never heard of this before. hopefully someone else will be able to help x
