During this week its gone long distance (because of the long uni holiday) and we have been talking on the phone every other day for about half an hour or so. is this not long enough really to be talking to eachother? its really great talking to her but i do worry we're not talking enough, even though it is very early days...any thoughts would be great...

I think you talk enough with each other. You are concerned as this is new to you.At this stage of relationship you need keep talking regularly.Over time what you are talking about with your girfriend may become more important than how frequently you communicate.

Hi,It doesnt seem too bad, at least you are talking regurlary. As its early days yet, it could be that you dont really have that much to say to each other, but give it time and as you both get more relaxed you speak more frequently and for longer periods. It could be that you are just missing her loads and so think you arent talking enough. Keep it up and Im sure you will get used to it. One solution to the double problem of missing her and having stuff to talk about is arranging to mmet up in the middle of the hols. That way you will have lots of conversation about what you will do when you meet up and stuff to talk about after you've met up- keeping you nice and occupied.
