 No, you don't need a bigger penis, HE just needs to learn technique! He needs to understand that you won't be instantly turned on unless there is lots of foreplay, especially as you are a tight virgin, else it will be more likely to hurt.Does he know that he needs to engage your mind long before he engages with your body?

It has nothing to do with his penis. It's because it was your first time! The first time is never pleasureable and amazing. It just hurts, and then you tense up and as you are not relaxed you can't enjoy it like you will later on. Try different posistions, such as you sitting on top of him. That way you can control how far he penetrates you.
