I disagree completely with some of these answers, virginity isn't something which has a lot of grey area. He was in you. You're not a virgin, case closed.

Angiebaby1993 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionhey thanks for your opinions and i do know alot about sex whoever said i wasn't ready or knew about it. i mean i was ready but i wasn't sure if it counted or not because of the Hymen situation but i don't count myself as a virgin, but i've not really had sex which makes it sound weird but thanks your answers helped me decide especially thanks to diebler33

Don't listen to anyone bringing you down. So he was in you,and you were about to do it...NORMAL!!
BUT he didnt really penetarte you and you didnt have an intercourse so in MY opinion your a virgin. And if you feel like this wasnt a sexual experiance..than it wasnt. No one has the right to tell you to believe their opinions.
So if you feel confused about this take the time to analyze if you consider YOURSELF a virgin or not.

Virginity is an arbitrary, made up concept. Growing up, I knew plenty of girls who hadn't technically had sex who weren't very virginal.
If you still think of yourself as a virgin, and tell people as such, nobody can prove otherwise. I would spend more time thinking about how comfortable you are with your decisions as a whole rather than technicalities.

I would say you're still a virgin. You guys didnt have sex, as you stopped him before your hymen was broken by his penis.

He was in you, so no, you're not a virgin anymore. If you don't know something like this you shouldn't be having sex.

I also count dildoes as penises. A small vibrator the size of a finger is not going to make a difference, but I believe girls/women are capable of taking their own virginity by using a dildo the size and shape of a penis. Just my personal opinion though.

A
reader, anonymous, writes (12 July 2010): the mainstream view of virginity is if you have never had sex. His penis was inside your vagina. Doesnt matter if he moved once or not at all or was barely in. It Was in, hence you are no longer a virgin. I do also agree with soon567 about the rape victim though. I was raped as my first time, but i decided that he did not take my virginity as i did not want it to happen. I know technically it might not be correct, but i never chose to give it to that jerk so the first time i had sex when I wanted to, i decided that was when i really lost it. Good luck

I agree with TimmD, since his penis was inside you then I wouldn't consider you a virgin. Again like he said it is all of a matter of opinion. Since he pulled out before you two really engaged in sex then you could also say you are still a virgin.
You could go with whatever you are comfortable with saying. However, if you were upset that you might not have been a virgin anymore then I suggest you explain to whoever tried to have sex with that you are really not ready. Don't try again until you are ready and you will have no regrets.
Hope everything works well for you!
Good Luck!

You are not a virgin. You had a penis in you. But, that doesn't mean it won't hurt the next time as well. I've had thick ones and they still hurt even when Im no virgin.

Yes you did lose your virginity because he was inside you even though it was for a short period

There is no right or wrong answer here, it's all a matter of opinion. I say yes because a) you went into the act with the mindset of having sex, and b) his penis WAS inside you... even if it wasn't in that far or for not very long.
I vote: No, you are not still a virgin.
