I'm already making him a scrapbook but I want to buy him something meaningful as well, although I don't have a lot of money. Taking him out is not an option, because we'll be at college during the day (We're 17), and he's taking me out for a meal at night. So I want to get him something material for him to treasure and to show him how much I love him. Any ideas?

Give him something which you both treasure and share.
Something that is in your prized possession. It may not be expensive but have a lot of values.

I would like to say that the scrap book is a really good idea. Something material for him makes me think jewlery since he can always have it with him. You can usually get a stainless steel chain for not too much. If you have a ring or something like that you could put in on the chain. That way you use something you already have and not only does he have something that you bought him he has something that you treasure. It doesn't have to be the most valuable thing and I reccomend it not being something too valuable but the fact that it is special to you will mean he will treasure it more.
