Obsessed with my math teacher....

Question - (4 November 2008) 2 Answers - (Newest, 4 November 2008)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I'm sure this question's been posted many times before, but my problem concerns my calculus teacher. He's just so funny, witty, nice, and he really cares about his subject and makes me want to care about it too. As you can guess by now, I have a crush on my calculus teacher.

And yes, I know already that he's a lot older than I am. As a matter of fact, he's 28 and I'm almost 18. The gap is significant, but not to mention he's got a girlfriend and his brother happens to be my friend ... which is somewhat awkward. But the reason why I guess I care so much about him is because of his personality and he'll help if you ask him. He also really knows his subject and makes it SO much more interesting. I actually hated math before his class but am now loving it.

Well, before I digress and continue to sing his praises, I want to ask my question. This crush is getting to be so bad that I need ways to get over it! I just want to get over it because before everything I do, I seem to think of what HE would say. This ,,is even making me reconsider my career into something related to math! Please help me get over this crush. I need some advice on what to do to get over him.

Thank you.

anon.
