I haven't had many relationships and I know that I definitely fell into this category for my first relationship. I've had this coversation with my current girlfriend who is way more experienced than I and now I'm afraid to express my feelings because I don't want her to think that it's my inexperience, but I actually do love her.I know that I shouldn't be afraid to express myself, but what are the opinions out there about hearing "I love you" from someone with minimal relationship experience. Am I over-thinking this? Reply to this Question Share |

When you feel it just say it! Love is a very strong emotion. If you love her she may already know cause LOVE comes out in many ways. Actions they say speak louder than words.......now it's time for the Word to Speak for itself.
Just be prepared to accept her response. It hopefully will be what you want, it by chance it isn't, don't worry because sometimes it takes a bit longer for one to feel than the other.

Telling someone you love them is always a very good idea.

I'm inexperienced too. But I'd love to hear "I love you" from a guy who does. I think all girls do. If she doesn't, perhaps she's cynical due having been hurt. If that counts for anything...
