hi, im 20 and there is this guy that i like whos 22 and he really likes me yet nothing is happening between us. we text for hours during the day, speak on the phone for hours and he has said he really likes me yet when i suggested a date he said yes but i had to go before we could organise something and now he isnt mentioning it anymore. I dont know what to do, i wish he would just ask me out but i think hes too shy to so im always the one to initiate things between us. Do u think he has changed his mind and thats why he hasnt said anything else about the date or does he only fancy me but not actually want to be in a relationship with me? im so confused

cd is right...you need to break the ice by asking him firstly if he wants to go out with you and your mates and maybe his and ask him then does he fancy doing something in the week just you to and then take it from there you can see he is interested in you otherwise you wouldnt be texting or speaking to eachother

good luck

cd206 agony auntNah I think you were right the first time! He's just shy. However, since ur nervous about it being the other reason that is stopping him why not invite him to come out in a group with you and your mates and if that goes well ask him if he wants to make it just the two of you next time?

Nuthin to be ashamed of by just askin him.Be straight forward - if you ask him and hes shy but wants you he will be very relieved. If not - then at least you know where you are.
