completely absurd. You do not need to have first had a child to use the birth contorl pill. Many, many people who have never had children use the pill.

so you are saying the someone who has kids should use them - isn't that a bit late?
My understanding is use them not to have kids - so generally before is better. Watch for side effects and don't miss any. Make sure you let them um work for a while first (ok boys knowledge now exhausted) I would also suggest using condoms - you don't know where he has been or worse his other partners have been or worse there other partners or worse (ok you get the message).

No, the whole point is to prevent having kids. A lot of girls take them to stop it from happening so they can have sex without their being much of a chance of pregnancy, but there is still a chance. Many at your age do it, I wouldn't recommend having sex for a while at your age wait until at least collage to start doing that sot of thing.
