My problem isn't really a big deal but its been bugging me so I thought I'd ask some advice/opinions.I have just started at a new job a few weeks ago and have made some good friends. We had to do a collaborative project last week and I was stuck with two women, one of whom I didn't really have much time for. I got to know her and she turned out to be really nice and we spent a lot of time together. The problem is that there was some kind of chemistry between us but as soon as anyone else is around she almost completley ignores me and will put me down and say hurtful comments so I just leave her alone. Then last week we all went out for work drinks and she was very flirty when others weren't looking and held my hand all the time. we lost the others apart from one guy and we were fine dancing etc then about an hour later she suddenly wanted to go home and when we went to our cabs she didn't even say goodbye really. I wasn't dong anything to annoy her that I can think of. So my problem is 'What does she want from me, if anything?' I don't even know if she wants to be my friend as she has no interest in me when others are aroud and I feel too stupid to ask her whats going on.

Yes, it's a new job and you might feel more comfortable with some friends. Just chill, check out personalities and befriend someone real, and not someone who puts you down and acts differently when everyone is gone. Bad. She's the kind of person who will spread lies and make your life a living hell in that office.Totally ignore her. She's fake and plays games, how old is she?It doesn't matter if there's chemistry. Better run now b4 you get your feelings involved with this potential abuser.
