A female Philippines age 36-40, *rdinary Girl writes:

confused; Is he really busy or he's just not really that into me?

I met this guy from where i'm currently working. It was his first time to be here in this country. He came here for business trip. So, basically it's just a quick trip ( 1 week).

We met in one of the hotel bar here. At first he was talking with my girlfriends then I came along then he introduced his name to me. It was actually in a polite manner. I was impressed. Then, he started talking to me then he invited me to go somewhere else that we could able to converse and know each other more.

So after that conversation he keeps on saying that he really want to know me more then he asked me to have dinner with him. i was reluctant to answer it right away because i was thinking i need to head out to my home because I still have to work for the next day. so, he asked for my number and e-mail address. so i did. surprisingly the next day he sent me a message through e-mail because he doesn't have a sim card for that country. Anyway, he did sent me message then he asked me again to spend time with him, to have lunch or dinner. so i replied; yes!. then after that date we he walk me through to my workplace then he told me that he would probably go back here to see me again and he would probabaly ask his new boss to let him transfer near to the country where i am currently working. He also told me that we should keep in touch. he actually informed me that he will be very busy when he goes back to his hometown because he just got he's new job and he's going to transfer to the new city. I took it as a hope for us to work things out of what we have started. so he left that day and goes back to his hometown. so he did, he sends me e-mail now and then. but, sometimes it will took 2 weeks after he sends me messages. but, he's informing me what are his activities. and asking me if how i was? about my work and other stuff.

I'm just confused, why would he bother to send me that information about his daily activities even though he's just sending me after 2 weeks? or sometimes even after a month? should I understand him that he's really busy that he needs space? what should I do? Recently, he sent me message he informed me that his friends is coming to the country where i am currently working but unfortunately, he couldn't come because he just moved to his new place and his new job so he's really busy. What should I do?

in my opinion, you may need to know a little bit more details out of him.

i have witness many girls being pursued like this, and only small percentage ends happily. what are the odds for you? i hope you are not taking a risk on that. better safe than sorry.

just take precautions k. i know Philippines ladies are sweet as i myself have few acquaintances with Philippines ladies. be careful..

good luck..

Libra1963 agony auntContinue to get to know this guy. It sounds like he really wants to get to know you. He has been honest. Like the other aunt writes - why does he want to be near you. I was not certain what country your flag represented. Tske care and use your instincts.

to me, it is just too far fetched. he may be interested in you at first, but as time goes by, the feeling may fades. mind you, the two of you are practically strangers, i doubt that the first encounter was just a lust.

seeing you are an Asian, you might need to be careful too as I know people from Western or Mid Eastern country loves to take advantage of local Asian girls while visiting any Asian country. they usually feel lonely while they are away from their wife or girlfriend back home. plus, i still don't understand as to why most Asian girls simply fall head over heels for white men. i know this as i have witness it happened before over and over again while I was there.

just forget him.

LLindy87 agony auntwell he told you ahead of time that he'll be busy, he's still contacting you so I think he's being honest. It'd be totally different if he said he was busy after and then stopped talking to you altogether.

However, I kind of find it a red flag that he's going to move to another country for a girl, you, that he just met. If you are the reason he is transferring jobs then I'd proceed with caution. However, if he has other reasons on top of that then I wouldn't worry. I know that wasn't part of your question, but I just wanted to throw my two cents in there.

Watch out dear, the guy might have a wife or serious girlfriend there, no matter how busy he is he can still ask about u at least 3 times a week. Besides, informing u in advance about his busy schedule is definitely a bad alarm!!! talk to him about it and clarify everything. just be careful
