I'm quite good friends with him but when his drunk he can be a little bit gay with me lol, but I dunno if that has something to do with it. If were out his constantly doing stuff like slapping my backside, putting his hand up my top, playing with my hair and kissing me on the cheek sometimes lol. The other night he said 'pretend to come onto me and i'll teach you how to do it', so that got me thinking that maybe he fancies me lol. I'm straight and i've got no problem with gay people! But this has been bugging me for a while so I thought maybe people on here might be able to read the signs :)

Hey,
It sounds like either your mate is a total attention seeker or yes hes gay and trying to push your bondaries. Either way from what you have said your happy to be friends with him and you'd like him to clam down and perhaps direct his feelings elsewhere. If you want to find out if he is gay, ask him but don't belittle him if hes struggling with himself. Tell him directly what you are and are not comfortable with and if he wants to stay friends hopefully he will appologise and back off. Its always best to be honest and direct with people so they know where they stand.
