writes: Hello, I know this is nothing to do with relationships, it's about health, well, my sister's health.She started her period when she was about 14/15, she's now 17.Since then, she has had VERY irregular periods and rarely ever comes on.She's not been on now since last November.She's really worried that she wont be able to have children when she's older.I have taken her to the doctor many times before, but they never do anything, they just say it's normal, but how can it be?What could be wrong with her, and should she be worried?

I'm sure your sister is fine. Periods can take a long time to regulate. But if you're really worried go see a doctor again. You can ask for a check up, a physical and blood work. Tell them your concerns and I'm sure they will either find out what's wrong or tell you a more detailed decription of what your sister is going through in terms of her period. And yeah if it turns out to be nothing she can always go on the pill. Worked for me :)

reader, anonymous, writes (22 April 2009): she needs to go to another dr. is she anemic. my stepdaughter was like that and they put her on birth control pills to regulate her periods.
