writes:Hello there,i will tell you my story and hopefully you will help me with it.A cousin of mine (due to some circumstances Not blood related) asked me out on a date with a straight forward way few days ago, I never though her like this way I know her really long time now (something like 6-7 years)lately we hang out a lot together with friends and all but for her asking me out of the blue like this i really got shocked... And now my actual problem, after this day I'm starting to think all the way arround... I can't get her off my mind and I'm getting more and more confused about all this, since I always got in mind all the consequenses and all.Thanks for every answer because I'm totaly lost with this thing.

 Yeah, here in the US as long as their not related by blood in anyway there are no problems. What do you think the possible consequences there in Greece?

 Is she your cousin by marriage? I don't know how customs and things like that are in Greece, but most of the time if the family isn't really that close and you aren't blood related, no one really cares.
But dating your blood related cousin is kind of frowned upon. How close is your family (I'm assuming pretty close)? Would they have a problem with you and her as a couple? IF they did have a problem, would you be okay to deal with their wrath, so to speak?
