Question - (17 June 2014) 1 Answers - (Newest, 18 June 2014)
A female Nigeria age 36-40, anonymous writes:

The first time I had sex I didn't bleed. Then felt I had problem and my BF thought I lied. I've had sex several times after then with him. I stopped having sex for about 7 months. Penetration became difficult when he tried, but eventually it happened. It was quite painful, but no bleeding. This is the second time I'd be having sex after going for 7 months breaking and I saw blood on my pants and also some spots of blood on the toilet tissue. What could have happened?

A female reader, CindyCares Italy +, writes (18 June 2014):

CindyCares agony aunt Probably nothing much : if it was just some light spotting, either he was too vigourous, or you weren't excited ( and lubricated ) enough, and so the excess of friction broke some capillary. Tell him to go easier, or use lube.

If it happens again, though, see an OB/GYN : recurrent bleeding after sex may indicate cervical inflammations or a sexually transmitted infection.
