He can chew me up, and spit me out, and I can't walk away. So my question is, why?Why do I dwell on all the good things? Why can't I remember the bad things and use to it to my advantage to get out and better myself?I feel as though, I stick with him, because I am comfortable. I am safe, I already know what to expect. I hate the thought of going into another relationship, and living in fear, because I wouldn't know who that person really is.I always act like I have the situation with my ex boyfriend under control. I can still go to his house with no strings attached and at the end of the day, if he does something wrong, I will not be hurt.But that's not really how it goes, is it?

 You've answered your own question. Better the devil you know..... But you know it's not good for you. How much heartbreak and humiliation will be too much? Get out now. Before you lose all respect for yourself. Yes you'll be afraid and alone but you'll have self-respect. And you will get over it. And you will learn to know new people and you will meet someone who is good to you.good luckxx
