It's kinda a nervous thing, your first kiss, probably won't be that great, but eventually, you'll get better with practice.
If it's with the right person, just close your eyes and let it happen. :)

It compleatly normal. I was so nervous before my first kiss. Just relax and let it happen. If he leans in lean back. The reat will come naturaly.

How much time have you spent with him? It sounds like you've only ever talked to him online or via text or like that.
If you aren't ready for the kiss, you aren't ready. No big deal. You won't feel like backing out when you are ready. You'll just close your eyes and kiss. It's nice, when it's right and you are ready. It can be rather awful when it's not right and you aren't ready.
If you have to ask people online, you aren't ready, sorry! It's okay! There are no rules on this that are etched in stone.
Your mom and dad each had first kisses. You might ask them about them and how they knew it was time. I know it seems weird but parents have a past and were teenagers once too!
