A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *ma FreAk! writes:

Hiyaaaa

Right my old primary school friend recently got in touch with me and I'm extremely happy and we call each other and all that.

Now I'm my Easter break revising my butt off for AS and she wants me to go out with her for an hour or something but I know it's gonna be more than an hour and I don't really want to go out because I got loads of revision today and worse enough I know I don't do any work in my heart I know that I haven't done enough like not even 2 hours worth of work that is how bad it is! And I wake up late and go to end kinda late but doing nothing like going on youtube all that loooool

So I keep on saying no but she is asking and it's not like we're not gonna see each other and she is really pushing it so what do I do!!!!!???

Starmonster888 agony auntAS is a drag! I haven't touched a book yet:/ HOWEVER, you have a little over a week. Work, then give yourself one afternoon off. It's healthy to balance between lesuire and obligation.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (14 April 2011):

Why do you not make up a revision timetable for yourself? That way, you can add a bit of structure to your day and allow yourself time to see your friend. If you really don't have enough time (or don't really want to) see your friend, why not suggest you meet up with her on a weekend or after you've finished all your exams? Good luck :)
