writes: Hey everyone, how are you? I'd like to thank you all on your help on everything else. They've all been very encouraging, rational answers that have either made me feel better or have helped. So, again: my sincerest gratitude to all of you. Thank you.So, here's another question for you guys: is it possible to become anorexic without meaning to? For about a couple of months now, I haven't been eating all too much. Maybe two things a day. (By "things" I mean a bowl of cereal, and maybe some rice with chicken... As examples). I'm not trying to watch my weight or anything like that, I just haven't been hungry. And if I am: there's nothing in the fridge or pantry that appeals to me. I know I sound spoiled - but I've started to hate some foods that I used to love. For no reason at all. I've considered that maybe I'm stressed out or depressed, but really? I'm not. I have a wonderful boyfriend and my family has its problems, but what family doesn't? I'm perfectly content with what I have. I have nothing to complain about. So it's not depression. And as for stress? Nothing in particular comes to mind as to what I should be severely stressed about that would affect my eating habits.Trust me: I've tried to change this. Eating a little bit more than usual. I have tried to eat a little more, but even that will make me sick and I'll throw up. Can someone tell me what's wrong? Or give me advice, please?Oh, and some basic information, just in case it affects anything: I'm 16 years old, 5'1, small frame and 104 lbs... I'm a virgin, still in school, I'm an insomniac and lactose intolerant... Hope that helps a bit.Thank you, everyone!

It's summer, nobody wants to eat food, too heavy... but I bet your drinking more.
Two meals a day, protein and carbohydrates is perfectly ok, epecially durring summer... I suggest you have some salads or fruit instead if you find heavy food too difficult. Summer is the perfect time to eat lots more salad, vegetables and fruit.

Doesn't sound like you're anorexic, but going by your height and weight, you sound normal to me. I'm 4'11" and weigh about 100 lbs and have been told my doctor that I'm a normal weight for all the bigger I am.

I haven't read your past posts, but it doesn't sound like you're not eating with the intent to be smaller or have control over your life you're just not eating much cause you're not feeling the options. also your frame and age fit the weight you're saying. i'd check every once in a while, or if you have regular doctor check ups, whether you're losing weight or underweight. maybe you can ask your family to stock some items you find more appealing? but my guess is that it could be a hormonal thing, maybe your tastes are just changing because your body is?
