writes:This is a question for my wife.she has had 2 kids the youngest is 5. She had to have c sections with both. the problem is she has strech marks that she wants to get rid of. The c section scars are hiden but her belly is were the problem is. She is very pretty but she feels shes not. Is there any help in hiding or curing this small but big problem?

reader, anonymous, writes (9 June 2008): the past posters who say they will disappear dont sound like they have had kids...Nothing, I repeat nothing will get rid of them.... as a mother of 4 I can assure you they will fade (with or without creams and oils) but they will never go away completely...in fact the only thing that can get rid of them is to cut them off in a tummy tuck...as my dr says its like elastic and once the skin snaps under the surface it cannot be changed ...your role is very important in assuring her of her beauty and letting her know that only real women have stretch marks , they are the badge of honour for a mother...

 Hello, there is nothing wrong with stretch marks most people get them after giving birth to children some get them before children such as myself there isn't really much you can do except wait for them to go on there own or buy some BIO OIL from a pharmacy it isn't expensive at all othere than that I think that's the only way I can help you Bio Oil makes them fade at first but If you use it reguarly they should disappear.

 they have creams and stuff she can use you can buy it at a drug store im not sure how much it costs but i hear it helps ALOT!!

 Ah ok, i dont know if this is sold in the USA BUT there is a very excellent thing to help women with this, scars adn stretchmarks. It is called Bio Oil. I use it for my skins and its excellent!
