writes:hia few months back my wife and i went on an oversea holiday with 2 other couple. one we knew (well thought we knew well) and the other we had been out with a few time. Both the other couples at som 5 to 8 years older that us too.whilst over sea and being warm and feeling good one night it was proposed we all go skinny dipping and one thing lead to another and we swapped partners. i thought it was a one off and that we had all had too much to drink. but then i found out that the couple we hardly knew were swingers and our friends had done it with hem before.both my wife and i enjoyed it the fist time so we did it a few more times as we thought, what went on tour stayed on tour.on our return home my wife and i talked about it and i found out she had realy liked the attention as she being younger and a much better body was ok with it and would like to continue with it. she did say that she felt like a new woman and that it realy turned he on being swapped the 2 other woman are ok but not my type and will do most things. so i am feeling she is getting the better deal. i think its just a new thing and she will get sick of it soon as anyone been in this situation.

 Well next time, you should be the one to pick the couple and maybe you should select a couple that has an attractive wife.It was probably no accident that your wife picked a couple that stuck you with a dumpy, frumpy somewhat heavy set wife. Could be if you pick a hot wife in the next couple scenario, suddenly you're wife won't think it's so much fun any more. That would be my bet.

thanks for your thoughts they all make sence, i agree that it wouldn't be the best thing to meet other localy but we do know that the 2 couples we went away with are into it so we are both woundering how many more of our friends have tried. its not somthing you ask.
i have spoke with my wife about it and she like the idea of it as an holiday treat but feels that she would like to try it again so maybe we may head to sydney to find a club. i must admit it was quite a turn on for me seeing her with the other guys is that normal. i also agree that i wouldn't like it if it developed into somthing she tried alone.
my biggest beef is that the other 2 woman are much larger and not my type.

There are plenty of resorts you can vacation at that cater to adventurous couples. Desire in Mexico is one, Hedonism in Jamaica is another. Australia has many swingers clubs, but resorts may not exist...

It seems like it would be easier to swap when you are on vacation and not in your hometown, where you'll have to bump into those same people at the grocery store, PTA meeting etc. Kind of awkward if you ask me, plus since you wife liked it she may start venturing out without you. You two should agree that it's a once-in-awhile treat you can both play with while on vacation, but once you're back home, it's marital business as usual.

Perhaps just put it down to 'holiday gone wild' and don't get into this lifestyle permanently. If one partner is the slightest bit reluctant then it should not be pursued. Just tell her you don't want to do it anymore.

Tell your wife that what happened abroad happened, and you don't want to continue with this. Don't be pushed into doing something you know very well is going to cause you a lot of pain.
