I find I'm most horny the week I'm on my period, and the day of the highest chance of getting pregnant (go figure, since we're wired to have babies). It kind of sucks because my boyfriend doesn't like to have sex when I'm on my period, but those are the times I just want to jump him. Other times, I let him initiate. I initiate only when I'm on my period and super horny, but then end up just giving him head because he doesn't like having sex on my period :(Anyway, answer to your question is, yes...it is common.

Yep, this is quite normal. If you can really be in tune with your body - you will notice that your absolute horniest day is probably the day before your period comes. I try to take advantage of that night. :)As you get older, men - in general - are less freaked out by having sex when you have your period; esp if you are using condoms.

Pretty sure this is normal:) I am exactly the same, I guess it affects some women, it takes me by suprise so much! But I've just taken it to mean that it's some sort of hormonal thing going on. Either abstain or just use condoms:)

Yeah, that seems to be the norm... much to the frustration of both men and women everywhere.

This is known to be the case for some young women. And yes, I've known that with women in my past. You should worry not, just suggest use of condoms if it bothers your lover or yourself. Best wishes.
