You can use creams if its just your bikini line or a bit of shaping but dont use it all over as if it gets on your 'lips' or inside by accident it bloody well stings!!

The fact is, most women don't remove their pubic hair, they just trim the bikini line. You may see a lot of pictures with absolutely no hair, but most guys prefer to see a neatly trimmed amount. It does, after all, make you look like a grown woman and not like a young pre-pubescent girl. It actually does serve as a cushion and it retains scent as well, which also makes you a bit different from a young girl. And shaving off EVERYTHING is extremely itchy!
Most women will shave, wax or use depilatory creams, and they all have some minor problems. Never leave a depilatory cream on for longer than it recommends, they can really burn your skin.
Razors leave rashes and stubble. It's best to soak in a hot tub for a bit, then wash well and use a shave cream. Use a new sharp razor. A treatment afterwards, like BikiniZone, helps with the stubble by way of being an antiseptic. Some women have problems if they are allergic to the nickel in the stainless steel razor blades and get even more bump than normal.
Waxing kits are a bit tricky to use, but with practice, they can work fine. If you decide to pay to get waxed, go to a reputable place. Hot wax can leave red stripe marks on the skin, and some waxers are better than others. They should pull of the strip and then press down IMMEDIATELY afterwards which stops the sting. To just pull off the strip and leave you sting (like in The 40 Year Old Virgin) is unnecessarily painful, and most professional waxers know better than this. Waxing probably is the longest lasting method, then creams, then shaving. If you do just stick to trimming the sides, then there is less work and less stubble!
