A female United Kingdom, anonymous writes:

Im worried im having a miscarriage. My last period was on 15 May. I had unprotected sex on 27 May and I noticed very slight spotting of blood afterwards. Then last week I noticed my breasts had become very sore and on thursday I noticed blood in my knickers when I went to the loo. It was only spotting of blood again, but it happened every day until day today when I have now come on - and its 6 days early.!! My periods are like clockwork and Ive never had problems with them before. Im worried that I oculd be having a miscarriage?

I agree with the other poster. Spotting can be a sign of pregnancy, not necessarily a miscarriage. Call NHS Direct or go to your GP where you can have an examination and a free pregnancy test.

It sounds very much like a period but it may be a pregnancy. Often women in their first trimester bleed and it's mistaken for a period.

Go and see the doctor and he/she can give you a bit more guidance, but you still might be pregnant.

Just look at Kerry Katona, she thought she'd lost her baby when she was bleeding during pregnancy, but the baby was just fine!

You need to seek medical help.

Call NHS direct on 0845 4567, they will be able to tell you if you need to go to A&E or not.

Good Luck!! xx
