writes:Ladies I need your help! I had a short light period for 2 days when the normal would be 4-5 days ranging from medium to light towards the end. I spotted, then it went to brown now it's totally gone? I have a headache and feel sick to my stomach, have not been able to eat anything today with the feeling that I will throw up. I took a hpt and the result window was totally clear but the control window appeared immediately showing I took the test right. Has this happened to anyone? and what was the outcome?!

 I would say go to your doctor and instead of a urine test, have a blood test preformed its the best way to know for sure! good luck honey

reader, anonymous, writes (3 December 2008): Hi, yeah, may be good idea to go and see your local doctor, also being stressed out can sometimes alter your periods. The only way to know for sure is a visit to the Doctor, it could also be too early to tell if you are pregnant. Keep Safe xx

reader, anonymous, writes (3 December 2008): I have never been pregnant but from what I have read and know it sounds like a pregnancy to me. On the other hand, if you are very anxious about being pregnant those might be psychological pregnancy symptoms and you might not be pregnant.
I've heard about those tests failing before and the outcome being a positive pregnancy. If I where you I'd wake up very early in the morning and drive up to the nearest laboratory to be certain. If the nurse says: 'congratulations' when she hands you the envelope with the results you are pregnant. If she just hands them to you you are not pregnant.
