writes: I would like to get pregnant and have been trying for a nearly a year this May.I already have a daughter of 6 years. This is the second time my periods have been 4 days late and on the 4th day they start and are very painfull. My preiods were always regular and came on the 10th of each month and last month they came on the 14th and in March they came on the 17. I dont understand what is going on and i am getting fed up of the way things are going. Could you help me.

Here is a link that may help hunny, if you are really conserned a doctors ap would pop your mind at rest, my parents had trouble conceiving and as soon as they adopted me and my brother even though they were told there was a problem, because all the worry and stress was taken away with the adoptions my mum was pregnant so dont worry. Hello, if I were you I woudl go to the doctors, I have had a similar problenm before. They will take some blood and test your hormone levels. I'm not a doctor so I can't say if it will affect your firtillity or not but your GP will be able to tell you what's going on and also help you conceive.

I'm not sure if you are under any kind of stress that is causing these problems; however, maybe a visit or phone call to your gyno would be well advised. It never hurts to get the right answers from a professional.
Have you taken a pregnancy test, just to see? Some folks can be pregant and still have periods, you know...
