I called my mom and asked her about it but she was no help as usual. I know I can't be pregnant because as I said... I'm a virgin. So then, what does this mean? What should I do? I have a doctor's appointment scheduled already but it's not until the 20th of June and I made it before this problem started.

it's very common to skip a period or two
now the big question
are you seeing a boy/man? do you have necking/petting sessions
have they ever involved genital to genital contact without clothing on?
it's RARE but it's happened that girls can get pregnant without penetration

Sometimes periods just go wonky for weird reasons, but it's almost always something very benign and easy to fix, such as diet, better sleep, etc... Don't panic, it's probably nothing serious. Just go see your doctor and she/he can tell you what's wrong.

The best way to keep them regular is to look at eating raw natural foods and plenty of natural fats and oils.
These help your stomach lining and in turn your hormones and ovulation system.
Doctors are great for a general chat and to rule out things like problems with your ovaries.
But if the Doctor thinks there is nothing wrong with your ovaries.
Check out some research about healing your gut as this has an affect on everything down to your periods.
(Guts get damaged by stress, bad eating, processed foods, parasites and more).

Yeah, these things happen. Have you been unusually stressed lately? Have you been exercising a lot? Not eating enough? A lot of physical changes can cause a change in your cycle. Sometimes moving to a new place can too. Be sure to talk to your doctor about it if it worries you - he/she can tell you a lot more and make sure there isn't anything going on (very unlikely).

I'm with fishdish. Also, if you're really thin than your periods tend to be irregular. I'm a thin girl with a high metabolism and I'm a dancer, and once after a drop in wieght (I hadn't been eating enough, I'm fine now) i was a whole month late. Have you lost any wieght recently?

don't worry. At your age, your periods are more likely to be a little irregular. Your panic makes it seem as though you've always been pretty regular, which makes me think that this change is unusual. These things can be due to stress, drastic change in body weight, increased exercise. It's likely nothing, so I wouldn't move up your appointment, try to relax and enjoy your summer!
