its normal and happens to every guy. Its nerves or stress likely. Its rarely the girl. Just ride it out or see a doctor if it doesnt go away

Every man in the world has this happen to them. Dont make a big deal otherwise his mind isnt focused on enjoyment, its focused on getting it erect. I think its temporary and will get better. Stress, bereavement or anything nagging the brain is usually the cause.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (24 August 2010):

If he's the same age as you (36-40), it could be a sign of stress of middle age. It's nobody;'s fault, and needs to be handled with care or it will get worse. Help him relax and make sure he's all okay with his work and such. This can be fixed if no one blames anyone and you're both relaxed.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (24 August 2010):

More info please. Does he never get erections or is the problem limited to when the two of you have decided to have sex?

If it is the latter, he is dealing with stress/performance issues, and your questions and nuisances with it will certainly not help him. If it is the former, that is he never gets hard, not even in his sleep, then he needs to have his blood pressure, testosterone and other things checked by a professional.
