I believe the marijuana has a lot to do here. And the situation you describe suggests he has some psychological issues to solve, which make him lose his erection. Also, his saying that you're "loose" suggests that he doesn't get as much stimulation as before. Loss of penile sensitivity, maybe?
You know, I have the feeling that he wants to blame it on you.
The Kegels and all that would surely add to the enjoyment, but I would not like you feel you're the one to blame. I would hate it if you worked hard and agonize over a problem that is not only yours to solve.

Hey babe, no problem, Yea a vagina is, but the way your husband said, its too loose, i think the doctor, ( probs not a gyni ) would suggest the exercises.. They do help, and there are some for people who have had children, which are realy effective. Hope i helped =) mail me if you want to talk x x

shyboots is verified as being by the original poster of the questionHe smokes cannabis on a regular basis, a joint or two in the evening, I wondered if that would affect him although we make love in the mornings mostly?? I did wonder about it being that he didnt have a full erection or something as he does sometimes loose his erection temporarily and it seems strange that I "suddenly" went loose, he thinks its cos Im relaxed. I will try the excercises you suggested lovehim and dixiegirl, thanks for all your comments. How would a gynie know if it was looser isnt vagina size an individual thing?? Thanks again. :-)

Hey babe, maybe try a few exercises such as when you urinate, squeeze the muscles so you stop, and then start again, as this strengthens your muscles ( I learnt this in child development ). I would also suggest you see a gyncologist or doctor, as they will perform tests on you.. I hope i helped, good luck. Mail me if you would like to talk x x

I learned that the penis loses sensitivity as we age. Maybe this plays a role, too?

Consult a doctor/gynecologist if it's feasible. I doubt there's anything seriously medically wrong with you, however, I know various things go on with menopause, not that I know all exactly what, and that seems like it might be one possibility.
Another possibility is that the real issue is something going on with him. In which case I assume you'd want to show him the same kind of consideration you'd like to get yourself. Men slow down too.
