he can explain the quote! but kindly pray for a while and try to see whether your part is completely genuine. it is difficult to maintain a relationship going long. but it is easy to break up. but a break up must ensure - no more damages.Kindly don't see alone. see you and your husband as one. with your dedication and love he will all be for you.A man can not cheat his loved one, though he may make mistakes.

I think first of all that the quote is really intended for two single people who are friends and fall in love. Its awkward to cross that bridge, knowing that your relationship will never be the same after that. And that is all that really means.
I think the quote that really applies here is "That awkward moment that you realize you really want to cheat on your wife and have been repressing it".
Poetry does not justify anything.
Fix him.
