take care

If you are faithful to your husband and have fallen pregnant then expect your husband to ask about paternity... Men dont think about the possibilites, they assume its impossible. x

Dont they normally get them to give a sample about 6 months after the op, to check that its worked? I think it can happen, but unlikely.
Its difficult enough falling pregnant after a guys had a vasectomy reversal, let alone after a vasectomy i would think.
I guess if you are pregnant and havent slept with anyone else, then theres your answer!
If you're just worried it might fail, if he's had the follow up sperm test and alls fine, i would say you're worrying too much.
Good luck.

Although the risks are low, there is still the possibility.
I'm not sure of the exact number, but you and your husband should have been told to use protection (birth control) until a certain time period has passed or until he has reached a certain number of ejaculations. This is mainly needed right after a snip.
The other issue is post-vasectomy recanalization. Basically this means the vas deferens somehow "rejoins" or reconnects itself - thus making your husband fertile again.
You and your husband can go to your Urologist and ask to determine whether or not recanalization has occurred or not. They can always perform the procedure again.
Hope this helps.

I think there is a slight possiblity of the operation not working correctly. But I certainly wouldn't count on it if you wanted a baby. I think it's as near to 100% effective as you can get.
