My husband doesn't seem to think my contribution to the household matters as much as his!

I'm married. If I am paying all the bills and pretty much paying for everything and I only get $$ from my hubby when I run out, for emergincies only. How come he treats me like he pays for everything and I don't put anything into the family?

Phyrekiss agony auntIf it comes down to it, you might want to go over the list of 'responsibilities' with your husband. As petty as it sounds, he might just need to see that the halfway mark is being met, even if you have to spell it out for him. What is he doing to contribute? Does he pay anything? Does he do chores? Make a list, and both of you decide if each is doin enough.

My father was exactly the same... its a power issue, he's tryin to kid himself and you that you need him to 'survive' financialy when you obviously don't.
