hey everyone, im having problems with my gf. shes great and all but shes just too different and she kinda scared me. she acts really weird acting as if she tries to avoid her true feelings, when im trying to be serious she turns it into a joke, her mom judges me differently, her and her mom give a hard time to people in public, and worst of all she was teasing me this 1 time with a knife. i was with her earlier last night and it was my birthday (my birthday is the 9th) and she let me come over, she gave me how many signs to kiss and get intimate but after thinking of everything over, i didnt want to start anything so i just held her. she doesnt say "i love you" but expresses through intimate touch and kissing. i would love her to say it but shes too shy. i feel like i lost my love for her, it was because of her i decided to go back to school and that made me feel in debt to her. i dumped her 2 years ago and got back together with her about 6 months later. now im out of ideas. what should i do? plz help!

A female reader, Jolin Saint Lucia +, writes (10 August 2009):

Jolin agony auntwhat you should do is talk to her about what you feel.

Yknow, very often the relationship fail just because the people involve don't have a good communication. They keep their problems inside..and these would accumulate and potentially will become a bomb that ready to explode anytime.

So, talk about this..if you think the "i love you" words are important to you, then talk to her that you will be happy if she can say that to you.

My guy used to call me "mom", and since i like that (bcos it's unique..usually man call 'sweetheart', or 'baby' or etc to his gf), then i told him to keep calling me with that nick.

I am happy..and he knows what makes me happy. So, both of us are happy.

So..establish good communication with her...

Good luck! ^_^
