My friends say he likes me but I'm not sure?

hi there is this guy i know through a friend and we have recently got to know each other better. we mostly talked online but have now gone out together with friends etc

my friends say he likes me but im not sure, and i can't really tell!

he asked for my number and invited me out with his friends and he says things like what would life be without you, and he text me saying "stop thinking about me" late at night - as a joke but i dont know if theres any truth in it?

hes always really nice to me as well whenever we are out always talking to me etc and he also apologised to me on behalf of his friends because of something they did.

please help !!

I think your friends may be right! My boyfriend and I were friends for years and about a year ago he started acting like that (sending me joke messages and stuff)

If you want to persue anything with him maybe you should start replying to such messages with a little quip of your own (and I can gaurentee that he may make a move ;)
