We all were out and having a good time when one of my friends suggested we go somewhere that was kind of a far driving distance. My BEST friend goes oh no we cant go because i have to take (me) home, and she lives really far away. she then goes in the most annoyed sounding voice. "Ughhhh (me)why can't you drive"? I just looked at her in a shocked face. She then tried to laugh a little but i knew she was serious. Her actions then resulted in my other friends badgering me and making me feel horrible for not having a car or a drivers license. The thing is I don't BEG or ASK my friends for rides at all. I have vision issues and other problems that put a hold on me going for my license. I also personally feel that if i get on the road i will get into an accident. I understand its a hassle for them but they know my situation as far as driving my best friend was the one who asked and told me she was coming to pick me up to hangout. I'm not sure how to approach them and tell them to lay off with putting me down.

Just tell them: "If I had it my way I wouldn't have problems with my vision and I'd be happily driving us all around. But as it stands that isn't possible. I'm not complaining but you guys are not making it any easier for me."
That should shut them up. Just be direct with them. Offer to share the fuel costs and tell them you don't want to be dependent on others but that these are the cards you've been dealt and that they should accept you INCLUDING your situation.
