No curves, and butt looks awwwwwfull. Size up I always say - never down unless you are severely overweight.

Oh sweetie, I understand how you feel. The first step you need to take is realize that no matter what weight you are, you are a beautiful girl. An American size 0 is very small and in most cases(except for very short girls) those girls are underweight and do need to gain weight. I do not know your height so it is hard to say what size you need to shoot for.
I looked up a conversion chart and it says that a size 8 to 10 is a 4 to 6 in American clothing which is far from overweight in almost any realistic height for a girl your age.
Understand that because you may have friends that are smaller that does not make you bigger in the general populace. If I hung out with a group of anorexics I would be huge by comparison but that does not mean that I am actually overweight.
Try to keep your weight in perspective and if you continue to feel you look bad I suggest talking to your medical doctor about what weight you should be and possibly take a trip to a psychologist about any self-esteem issues you may face.
Stay strong and beautiful!

Why would you want to lose weight?
by the sound of things you just want to fit in with all of the rest of your' mates.
but why not be different.
nobody likes followers tbh.
no way do you need to lose weight.
i'm fourteen and weigh about the same as you&fit in to various different sizes of clothes.
ranging from 6-10's.
but i'm happy with that.
A size4 is sometimes unhealthy, you need bodyfat to keep you protected and staying strong, and when it comes to lads, curves are much more attractive.
don't push yourself too far like all of these skinny celebrities, they're all airheads who want attention from my point of view.
your' stil young but if you still want to go along and lose weight, do it for yourself, not for others.

Victoria pissing Beckham has a lot to answer for. Size 4 is not an accomplishment. In fact its disgusting. I can hand on heart say I'd rather be a size 24.
Size 8-10 is a good healthy weight and size to be so you should stick to it. And by the way your friends are probably lying when they say they can fit into a size 4. Shops in the UK have been discouraged from selling clothes that small and they are almost impossible to find so I seriously doubt your friends have even seen a size 4 outfit never mind bought one!
They're trying to be "cool" by jumping on the size 0 bandwagon and pretending to be like some of the more idiotic celebrities they are reading about.

Did you like the way you looked before you and your friends had this discussion? Is your decision to lose weight based on your unhappiness or the realization that out of all your friends you're maybe the only one who can't wear a size 4? People all have different strengths and weaknesses. We all need to be individuals or else this world would be one really boring place to live in. Be your wonderful self and love who you are and not what size clothes you wear. I'm sure you have a good, loving heart and a wonderful personality. You need to love yourself and forget about what other people think. Please don't take my harshly, they definitely weren't made out to be that way.

It's hard when your friends are smaller than you, but honestly you are perfect just the way you are. When you feel down about the way you look, focus on the bits of you that you DO like - obviously I can't see you but I bet that you are beautiful! Believe any compliments that people give you and even write them down if it helps you to remember that you are gorgeous! DO NOT compare yourself to others because you are your own person and beautiful and talented in your own right - looks aren't everything although I know that it seems that way.
I am not advising you to lose weight at all!! But if you want to tone up your muscles, which will make you feel better about yourself then try a gentle exercise like swimming. This will keep you lean and toned rather than bulked up like a man!! lol. Plus, doing exercise releases endorphins which makes you feel much better!
Trust me, you are a perfectly normal and gorgeous size. I bet there are tons of people out there who would do anything to look like you - so look at yourself in the mirror and see what everyone else sees! Crazy diets and exercise plans will not make you happy with the way you look, they will only make you more obsessed so stay away! Distract yourself with hobbies and activities to take your mind away from your hang ups. Ask your friends about their insecurities - you might be surprised to hear what they have to say! I have a friend who hates her nose but I've always thought it looked fab!
Remember, you are perfect just the way you are. Smile, because a happy person always looks better than the skeletal and moody person sitting in the corner! Smile, and the world smiles with you!
