At the end of this she asked if i would like to have his number because she was getting tired of him texting her. Should i be a bit insulted that she offered me her seconds. Am i over thinking this

I would ask her (IF she brings it up again) why you would want his number if he is clearly that horrible.
I'm hoping she was joking. If not that is kind of cold of her to try and set you up with someone SHE deems a loser.

I don't think you should be insulted. They obviously don't click.
She may have had a horrible date with him, but is that necessarily all his fault??? Maybe she should take some blame as to why it was so bad.
Point is, IF you went out with him, you guys might get on a bit better. This could be a chance for your friend to see how shallow she is when it comes to guys. Maybe you should take his number.
It's up to you anyway, good luck :)

Maybe she was just pulling your leg or is trying to passively ask for a way out. Tell her to block his number. If she was serious though, you have every right to be upset. Clearly shows who SHE thinks is worth more.
