A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

My friend think she's pregnant because she missed her period this month.(She's been with her boy friend for 4 years and they love each other a lot, so the fact that they are having sex is not really a big deal) She's only 16 and I don't know what to say or do. She's always been here for me and I wanna do the same for her but I don't know what to do.

I can't she lives an hour away. I tried to get her to go with someone else but she doesn't trust them. She told her boyfriend and he made her feel better but she didn't wanna go with him either. I know she would go if she was with me but I can't be with her now. I just need things to say to her to help her out and tell her she'll be okay.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (1 December 2010):

The very first thing she has to to do is a pregnancy test. She needs to be sure whether she's pregnant or not. So, go with her and get a test and find out whether she's pregnant or not. Start there, and see what happens.
