Anyway, it kinda really went wrong (an embarassing moment, he musta thought what the hell is she doing)and he ended up going on top.My friend tells me that guys can tell if you're a virgin, is this true? Would he have been able to tell that I was after the small inicident, or could I just brush it off as a "hadn't done it in a while"cheers.

I am not a boy so i cant tell you if a guy would know that but all i am going to say is that there is nothing wrong with being a virgin.
I am a virgin but i am also only 14 years old.
when i have sex for the first time i think that i am going to tell the guy so he will know and try to help me through it instead of lying about it and being weird about it.
But then again, thats just me.

YES, Guys can tell you're a virgin or not.. But only after you've told them that before..
THERE IS NO WAY ON EARTH that anyone can tell if a girl is virgin or not.. !! Only your doctor can tell you're a Virgin by looking at your hymen. But then, some girls just dont have a hymen.. !!
G'day

Forget it hun. He's not perfect, so don't put yourself down. Doesn't matter if you're a virgin or an old hand, first time with anyone new is always a bit of a fumble and tumble, but like with anything it gets better. Just think he's lucky to have had the honour of being with you, and particularly as you were a virgin. Thats a real honour. Just bear that in mind and hold your head high girl. Happy New Year.

This doesn't sound like a special encounter for him, or you. Don't worry about it. Most virgins usually don't "climb on board" -- that shows boldness and experience in my book! -- so he probably didn't think about it again after he zipped up his pants.

When I lost my virginity I lied and said I wasn't a virgin. The guy didn't mean a lot to me and was notorious for sleeping with a lot of girls and I didn't want him to feel like he had "collected another virgin." He never knew.
On the other hand there were a few times when I lied and said I was a virgin, either because I didn't want the real virgin to get nervous or because I wanted the other guy to feel special for awhile. Yes, I know that's wrong.
What I'm curious about is your reasons for trying to pass yourself off as being experienced. I gave you mine and they re admittedly selfish, but it seems like you had a genuine self-consciousness about "doin' the deed" that may suggest that you weren't comfortable enough with this man to have had sex with him in the first place. Just a thought.
The point is, even though guys claim to be able to tell if someone is a virgin or not, the only real telltale sign is if you bleed when your hymen breaks (and even then you can say you are just coming off your last period. You don't have to feel embarrassed and he was probably happy to have gotten laid. Don't worry.
