We're past that point where we're freshmen in high school, or in middle school, etc. and it would be happening all the time, but it still makes him blush heavily. Every time we're holding hands or even talking to each other in some way he gets really hard but he's not the type of guy who is reallly sexually-minded at all, so I don't know why it happens. I try not to let him know at all that I notice because it would make him really embarassed - he is a really shy type of guy, even around me. Like I said, I realize that this sort of thing happens to 14 and 15 year olds for no reason, but at his age (he's 19) it puzzles me that just holding hands with me gives him an erection. Is it something I'm doing?

As a guy I had a stage where it was very hard to control myself around a pretty girl and mostguys do. THough this is normal it doesnt change how embarassing it is and honestly as wonderlove said there really is littleto do about it, yes joking about it may help if he doesnt take it wrong but be careful as he may not find it very funny and it could increase the embarassment for him.

Easy, you're a sexy woman! He is a man after all. Men have reactions around women they think are sexy and beautiful. Its a huge compliment! I know how you feel tho. Its quite embarrassing not just for the guy, but for you too.
Its normal. and its not something you're doing. But he cant really help it, unless he takes a rele rele cold shower. Wait a while and maybe make a joke about it! I did that with one of my male friends. Make light of the situation! Good luck x
