Hi everyone

I have this friend that I just met about six months ago. She is having troubles and I think I'm starting to like her. She lost a friend in a car accident a couple of months before we met, and she's still sad about this. Then she likes a guy who she doesn't think likes her and won't tell me who so I can help. Furthermore she told me she was "abused" by a guy we go to school with, but that's as far as she will go. I need to know how I could help her out because I really don't like her being unhappy. Most of these problems I've never had myself and I dont know how 2 help.

AskEve agony auntThe best thing you can do for now is be her friend. Don't ask her out on a date or pressure her in any way as she's got too many emotions running through her head just now and she'll be very vulnerable. Tell her you're there for her as a friend if she ever needs to talk. She'll appreciate that more than you know.
