writes: Help me figure out if this girl likes me, because although she's in a relationship, I'm starting to wonder if she wants things to go further with me.First off, we've hooked up before and she cheated on her partner with me. Second, she used to like me a lot before her and her boyfriend got together. Third, I'm the first person she calls when she needs someone to talk to about her relationship issues, or even just when she's upset about anything, even if she's on the phone with me, and her partner beeps in on the other line, she tells me to hold on and gets off the phone with him and talks to me for longer. Fourth, she always calls me every day and we talk for long periods of time. Fifth, sometimes she's late for work or comes home early from work and we hang out, and I'm starting to wonder if it's really that she's getting off early, or if she does that intentionally just so that she can see me and have time with me. Sixth, I think we kind of find it hard to make eye contact with each other because when we do, we kind of start to laugh or smile. So I've found we try to aviod eye contact. Lastly, we've taken a nap together in her bed. I know that sounds lame, but we were just talking and fell asleep together.I guess I am just confused about where to go from here. The last thing I want to do is make a move and mess up our friendship because we're so close right now, and I also don't want to come between her and her boyfriend, because I want to be respectful. But it's just so hard because I feel like a lot of the signs are there that she likes me and is interested, but we're at a stand still because she's in a relationship. It's making me miserable. What should I do? Do you think she likes me?

I think you are way too available to her. She's cheated on someone before to be with you, now she's with someone else but leans on you a lot. If she liked you that much why is she now seeing someone else? Maybe she doesn't know what she wants but sounds to me like you should take a step back. You are in danger of being a comfort option - always there in the background but not, it seems, relationship material. Sorry.
