 Advice? Yes. You ARE only 14; he's 17, three years older which at your age is quite a lot. Even if you feel he "wouldn't do nothing" (wouldn't do anything, that is) "with me", the fact is that for a boy to have sex with a fourteen year old is against the law. He COULD get arrested if he were to sleep with you, because legally, you are still a minor.
Your mother knows this and she is only looking out for your welfare. That's why she doesn't think it right for a 14 year old to be with a 17 year old. Your Mam has a few more years on you and a lot more experience of human nature. She and your sister are not trying to be mean to you!
Cool down on the "I really like him" bit and enjoy your other friends, and do your best with your studies!

 Ask him to come over to your house to meet your mam and sister. If he really likes you he will do this. If he refuses then pass on him.
