writes: I dated this guy for a year and recently broke up with him because he had lied to me about drugs and things like that and I couldn't get over it. Anyway I hung out with his best friend a couple nights ago and his best friend (of more than 10 years) told me that my boyfriend had cheated on me with my roomate like 5 times. I talked to my ex and of course he says he never did it (he still wants to get back together) and that he thinks his friend might be trying to get with me now. I don't know who to believe since his friend has made sexual remarks to me before and also my ex has lied to me in the past. Please help!!!!!

if you got back with your ex not only would you still have to see if hed changed from being a liar etc but youd also have to carry the pain of not knowing if he slept with your roomate.no1.what sort of best friend dishes up dirt like this about his mate???no2.no smoke without fire.no3.why isnt your ex reading his friend the riot act?
hate to say it honey but i think maybe they are taking the p@?" out of you?hope im wrong.out of this whole bunch of people you sound like the only one with any pride and dignity (dont forget you roomate)?you were strong enough to get rid of him before.delve into those reserves and do it again and mix with some different people.hope it works out.

it sounds like your ex's friend is trying to get with you, but why would he lie about your ex cheating? i would make it clear to the ex's friend that your not interested in him nor in getting back together with your ex. Get out there girl and find yourself a decent guy who deserves your love cos neither of those two do. How can you trust someone that lies? A relationship is build on trust and thats been ruined by your ex.
There is an old saying that is so true,
"once something is broken, it doesnt matter how many times you try and fix it, it will NEVER be the same again".
You will find someone that will treat you with the respect you deserve so dont waste your time on either of those two.
Good luck!
