My ex doesn't return my calls. Should I just let go?

I had been dating a guy. we broke up almost four months ago and will he drinks a lot and parties to much. His 10 years my senior and he gets really crazy when he drinks. I have been there through everything and when he was in jail and he has a child. I don't get to see him that much anymore and he is always busy even to call or text but when his with me he always has his phone. So why cant he answer my calls or text messages I dont get it . Should i just let it go
