I'm a new girl at school and I'm extremely shy and introverted though I have found wonderful friends (somehow). A month or so back there was this competition held in school where I saw this guy who I thought was amazing. I just kept staring at him and at the end he asked me my name, and i was just so happy:) It's been a month I just wish something would actually happen. His classroom is right above mine and I consider myself lucky if I just about manage to catch a glimpse of him. And I'm so sick of just looking from a distance. How do I bring myself to say something to him?what on earth DO is say?Do I like deliberately bump into him or something? Please help :-(Ive just started high school BTW so its not as if I'm too young or something, and I'm not sure that guy even remembers my name .Thanks , /

I understand how you feel right now! Firstly, do any of your new friends know him maybe? If so, perhaps they could talk to him for you? Or, if you're on any social networks, maybe he is too, friend him on there and start chatting if you feel brave enough! Also, what I've understood from what you've wrote is that you're attracted to him because of his looks, do you actually know what he's like? His personality? Trust me, try to find out what he's like and that could be the decider on whether or not you'll be crushing on him any longer. He may be cute but he could be really mean! It really is best to just smile and say hi, maybe as you're passing each other on the way to class or if you bump into each other, this could result in something even bigger in times to come! Please don't waste all your time on this one boy. Focus on your work and catching up with work you've missed as you've just moved to this new school! Get school work out of the way then think about boys later, aha, I know I sound boring but I learned the hard way. Good luck, have a nice week x
