I was on the depo-provera injection for three months only and came off it on the 14 December. In January a had light bleeding which lasted for about seven days. I have not had any bleeding since. A couple of weeks ago my breasts began to get tender and I am having very bad pains in my stomach. Im scared Im preganant. I have been very careful since coming off the injection, but Im still worried!! If anyone who has been on the injection and experienced sore or tender brests after coming off it please let me know as it will put my mind at ease. Please don't tell me to take a pregnancy test because Im too scared to find out the truth...thank you xxxx

Well my last injection was due on the 14th of feb. Since then I have had my period (very light only last three days) twice in the last two weeks. As for my breast OMG they are soo sore. It is great to hear someone else having the same problem as me.

Women vary with contraceptions. It just means that your body is trying to regulate itself. I would ask your doctor or look up information on the web relating to depo-provera specifically.

When my sister came off it she had a similar thing, and said she had the worst period pains ever. Maybe it's that? Agree you should check out some websites re: side effects when coming off it. More likely than pregnancy (you wouldn't usually get bad stomach pains when pregnant). Good luck.

Almost everyone I've known who has come off of a contraception has had side effects. The side effects vary from person to person but it's just your body trying to re-regulate itself. I'd suggest looking up a site relating to the depo-provera specifically.
